Hectic, Hot, Exhausted

Thank God for this spell of cool, wet weather! The past week has been hard work, with loads of traveling, little sleep and plenty of great fishing being thrown into the mix.
I fished out of West Mersea and caught bass in shallow water on freelined ragworm, then I headed south to get stuck into some of the best summer cod fishing I can remember. Now I've got to shoot over to Wales to bag a bass on lures piece for the September issue - it's all good fun!
I hope you're all getting in on the action too - it seems to me that our summer sport just keeps on getting better - well it has done for the past three or four years at least.
Good luck with whatever you're tying to catch!
